For Zerodha, I assume most of their customers are on a monthly salary. So having fortnightly, weekly, daily is an option which will be hardly used.
I hear what you're saying but designing only for a purported majority still affects the minority that might need alternative functionality. Btw, Zerodha has the second largest user base in India with almost 70 lakh users.
